Fall 2017 Southeast Kansas Regional Meeting (SKRM)
November 16th, 2017
Southeast Kansas Education Service Center - Greenbush

Please join us for the 4th Annual KASP Southeast Kansas Regional Meeting!  The 2017 SKRM will be held from 9am - 3pm.  The location will remain the same; we'll meet at the Greenbush Education Service Center just outside of Girard, KS.  We will also continue the tradition of having our meeting on the Thursday of School Psychology Awareness Week (SPAW); this year the event will be held on Thursday, November 16th, 2017.

Topics Include:

  1. Legal Update from KSDE Attorney Mark Ward
  2. Project STAY
  3. BaSES
Cost of attendance is $15, which includes the cost of lunch and snacks.  Practicing school psychologists and graduate students in school psychology are the target audience.  However, registration is open to others, as long as space allows.

Registration can be completed through this link (external registration thru Greenbush).

Regional Update

Hello, Southeast Region:

I want to thank you for your support during the past four years. It has been an honor to serve you on the KASP Board.   I am grateful for your continued participation in professional development and engagement in advocacy for children.  I will be stepping down as your Regional Director in January 2018.

As I write this, we are just days away from the Fall 2017 Annual Convention.  On Friday, we'll all find out who has been elected to serve as your new Regional Director.  I look forward to working with that person in order to get them started with their new responsibilities.

You can continue to reach out to me anytime, even if I am not serving in an official capacity.  You may continue to contact me via email (jason.wright *at* greenbush.org) or through the Contact Me page at my personal website.

All my best,
Jason (10/3/2017)
