Come join and invite other colleagues to hear great information about topics "On the Fringes of School Psychology."

Super cheap Registration fees: $10 for Members and Nonmembers. Register by November 10 so we have final numbers for lunch. Lunch and light breakfast is provided.

Kansas Association of School Psychologists (KASP) is approved by the National Association of School Psychologists to offer continuing education for school psychologists.  KASP maintains responsibility for the program.

Regional Update

The KASP SEK Regional Meeting will take place during School Psych Awareness Week.  The event will be held at the SEK Education Service Center (Greenbush) on November 17th.  The primary focus of the meeting will be professional development about transition planning for students into the adult world.  Representatives will be on hand to discuss planning for services with adults with disabilities.  Other topics will include social media tips for educators and information about brain development for students exposed to early childhood trauma. 

The cost to attend the event is only $10, which includes the cost of lunch.

About Your Regional Director

Jason has previously worked as a school psychologist for Tri-County Special Education.  In his time at Tri-County, Jason worked with exceptional children from preschool thru age 21, primarily in Cherryvale/Thayer, Independence, and Coffeyville, Kansas.  

In 2015, Jason began working for the Southeast Kansas Education Service Center (Greenbush) as the Program Director for gifted education.  Jason currently provides services as both a school psychologist and administrator within this program.
