The 2020 Central Region Meeting for the Kansas Association of School Psychologists has been scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, February 26-27, 2020. We have the opportunity to partner with the Reno County Education Cooperative and provide a virtual workshop from CASE (Council of Administrators in Special Education). The workshop will be held at ESSDACK, 1500 E 11th Ave #200, in Hutchinson.   The workshop will run from 9 until 3:30 with a working lunch.  Check-in will begin each morning at 8:30 am.

Each Day will be a self contained workshop. Participants can register for each day separately or both days. Cost is $20 per day for KASP members, and $30 per day for non-members.   Due to the virtual nature of this workshop and time zone differences, we will have a working lunch which is included in the costs, along with snacks.

Dr. Ben Springer, NCSP, will be presenting on meeting the needs of all students with mental health and trauma-related needs (Wednesday all day and Thursday AM)  "Happy Kids Don't Punch You in the Face"

Julie Weatherly, Esq., will be presenting on Thursday PM "What’s Been Happening in Special Education Law? A Year in Review"
