The location will remain the same; we'll meet at the Greenbush Education Service Center just outside of Girard, KS. Hear from local mental health representatives about opportunities for collaboration with school-based mental health programs. Discussion will include existing programming used in Kansas schools as well offering suggestions for how to build better partnerships in your own building.
- Afternoon Session: Legal Update from KSDE Attorney Mark Ward
Learn about recent educational court rulings that impact our nation's educational system, as well as rulings that impact directly to Kansas schools.
- Closing Session: Guided Discussion of Hot Topics in School Psychology
Your new SEK regional director, Stacey Moddie will facilitate discussion on topics that are relevant to school psychologists in Southeast Kansas. Hear from your colleagues and get new ideas about responding to the changing landscape of school psychology.
Cost of attendance is $15, which includes the cost of lunch and snacks. Practicing school psychologists and graduate students in school psychology are the target audience. However, registration is open to others, as long as space allows.
